Key responsibilities

• The Business Developer will report directly to the Managing Director and will play a pivotal role in driving Meyvaert's growth through proactive lead generation, relationship building, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong technical background, particularly in project environments.
• Develop and nurture business leads with museums, architects, designers, and cultural institutions on an international scale, exploring both existing and emerging markets.
• Manage and coordinate strategic relationships and commercial partnerships to expand the Meyvaert network.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to convert leads into successful bids through tenders and negotiations.
• Contribute as a key member of the business development team, actively participating in the overall growth strategy.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in Sales or Business Development with a strong technical background, operating in a project environment.
• Degree in architecture, engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability in lead creation and relationship management.
• Willingness to travel abroad (approximately 25% of your time).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Familiar with diverse cultures.
• Experience with museums, cultural institutions, designers, and architects in both public and private sectors,  is a nice to have.
