TABLE CASES & GLASS HOODS

Table cases can be freestanding or standing against the wall. Glass hoods can be integrated in setworks or mounted on the walls. Our range of table cases, bases and glass hoods offers great flexibility in design and combinations. Depending on the dimensions & conservation requirements, we can advise on a suitable design and opening mechanism.

Our showcases are made to order and are also available with anti-reflective glass. Don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss which solution best fits your needs.

Hanging or standing

Table cases can be freestanding or standing against the wall. Glass hoods can be integrated in setworks or mounted on the walls.

Bases

Several design options:

  • Table with 4 legs
  • Solid sides
  • Solid base
  • Custom base

The base itself can be ordered separately and serve as a table or plinth.

Hoods or recessed

Depending on the object and the desired effect, you can choose to integrate the display hood in the base.

Different combinations

You can combine several glass hoods into a large table

Access & ease of use

The best suitable opening mechanism is selected based on the dimensions and positioning of the showcase, taking into account both esthetics as well as ease of use. As a rule, our showcases can be opened by a single person.

Possible opening mechanisms are:

  • Hinged hood
  • Vertical lift
  • Pull-out system

If the gallery dimensions and the positioning of the case allow it, and from an efficiency point of view, we recommend the use of hinged systems. Larger-scale cases can be fitted with a vertical lift system. Table cases with recessed glass hoods can be fitted with pull-out drawers.

Lighting options

Glass hoods can be internally lit from the side or from the top, or via internal lighting fixtures. Alternatively, table cases with glass sides can be externally lit by gallery lights. Choosing the most suitable solution depends on the environment and desired effect. Contact us to discuss options.

Present, preserve, protect

Present. Preserve. Protect.

The main purpose of a showcase is not only to present, but also to preserve and protect the object inside. Our showcases combine structural quality with esthetic elegance, whilst meeting the highest conservation standards. Passive or active climate control techniques can be used to obtain the best microenvironment for your artifacts. Depending on the conservation requirements, we can advise on a suitable solution.
