The Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence has reopened its doors to the public, after a major revamp!

The museum, with a total area of 34,200 square meters, is converted from the hundred-year-old Lyemun Fort on a headland 64 meters above sea level overlooking Lyemun Pass and is the city's only military museum.

The new permanent exhibition in the Redoubt, "The Story of Hong Kong Coastal Defence", consists of 11 galleries, which include the introduction of military presence under successive dynasties as well as the Chinese People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison.

Meyvaert contributed 6 freestanding cases and 18 wall cases to this exclusive exhibition.
