The museum and collection

Following the success of its big sister museum - the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE - a second GRAMMY Museum has recently been built in Mississippi that celebrates the rich cultural music heritage of this state. The museum’s mission is to provide its visitors with a content-rich experience that traverses music’s diverse history, the latest trends in the industry and the subtleties associated with the recording process.

The assignment

For this fascinating new museum that opened in March 2016, Meyvaert was awarded the contract for the production, delivery and installation of the showcases. The latter were constructed from custom-made detailed drawings, produced by Meyvaert’s accomplished engineers.
