Responsibilities

• Design, management and maintenance of:

• Network Infrastructure and Security: Design, management and maintenance of LAN, WLAN and WAN, as well as the implementation of security measures (firewall management, etc.).
• Server/Storage Hardware and Middleware: Management of server and storage hardware, including server and application virtualization.
• Virtualization: Management of VMs based on Proxmox Virtual Environment.
• Cloud Solutions: Creating connections between the existing infrastructure and cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• VOIP Solutions: Maintenance and management of VOIP telephony systems.
• Multifunction Printer/Scanner Infrastructure: Manage multifunction printing and scanning equipment.
• Backup and Replication Infrastructure: Maintaining backup and replication systems, including performing sanity checks on backups.
• Client Infrastructure: Management of desktops, workstations, laptops, tablets, and other end-user devices.

• Hardware Asset Management (HAM): Hardware asset management, including inventory and lifecycle management.

• Manage Microsoft 365 Services: Maintain and manage Microsoft 365 services, with an emphasis on the Cloud, Active Directory, user rights and other relevant aspects.

• Monitoring: Design, implement and maintain and a full infrastructure monitoring platform allowing quick reaction on incidents and improve predictive maintenance.

• Support / Helpdesk: Act as the first point of contact for technical support within the assigned domains, handling support tickets. Second-line support is provided by a partner.

• Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP): Design, implement, and monitor disaster procedures and recovery.

• Partnerships: Maintain and expand partnerships with reliable third-party vendors, both locally and internationally, to facilitate physical support in other countries.

Profile

Professional profile & background

· You have, preferably, a relevant high education in IT or equivalent through experience.

· You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.

· You have built up a comprehensive expertise in network engineering & firewall, including Windows based server infrastructure.

· Proven experience in VMs management.

· Professional certifications in the assigned domains is a plus.

· You are fluent in English and have a very good professional knowledge of Dutch and French (spoken and written).
